Retention Studies
Many organisations rely on key knowledge workers for their continued success. The difficulties encountered when such talent leaves are innumerable. Some organisations try to address HR policies and introduce initiatives to minimise the likelihood of retention problems. However, a retention study, where people are actually asked directly why they are staying or why would they go gets right to the heart of the problem. Only then can organisations be sure they are attacking the problem at source.
A retention study uses interviews and questionnaire surveys to gather views from the work force. Human Assets act as entirely independent consultants, which enables us to objectively analyse the information gathered and also encourages employees to be frank and open about their views.
The information collected through retention studies gives a valuable insight to whether employees feel their expectations are being met, whether they are realistic and what more could be done.
